In a partnership with Try Sports, Sia Brazil developed several interactive actions for Banco Itaú in the Rio Open 2015.
At the core of the activation, was a precision tennis game where players enroll and then they play in multiplayer in a gigantic led screen where they have to score by throwing the tennis ball to the key spots in the digital Itaú tennis field.
The intelligent system predict the distance from the ball to the target and scoring was made accordingly. Besides, during the game photos were taken automatically to participants and sent to them with the possibility to be shared in social media.
Also, an outdoor led screen show the photos in the Itaú photo-logo animation. Looping in the same screen appeared the ranking and the whole points made by the participants. Every 10000 points obtained, Itaú would donate Tennis Balls Boxes to a social institution.
The activation receive many participants throughout the tournament , and the success was so big that In the end Guga Kuerten, the famous Brazilian tennis icon, came to the booth and played against the top three of the ranking making from this experience a side digital tournament within the same Rio Open.
